Celebrity Bikinis and Babies
On Tuesday, Jamie Lynn Spears shot from the basement of the PopSalad.com market into the top three of Pop Society in a mere 12 hours — simply by posting a photo of herself and her daughter poolside in bikinis. It wasn’t long before the picture was splashed over countless websites and magazines.
For instance: New photos of Katie Holmes and daughter Suri surfaced this week, pushing Holmes’ score up by a standard $50,000 — nowhere near the JLS jump. Even Maxim’s hottest woman, Bar Refaeli, couldn’t raise her score above $80,000 after recent bikini pictures of her hit the Web.
Neither baby photos nor bikini snapshots are an uncommon feature in Hollywood press. But combine them and BAM! A magical recipe for some six-figure press.
